I'm just about to push the button on buying a second-hand Stelvio Quadrifoglio and picking it up tomorrow. The car is the exact spec I've been looking for, which seems to be quite a rare combination of optional extras.

The car is a late 2019 so still within Alfa's 5 year warranty, however it has been remapped and is on 25mm lowered springs, so I understand that any warranty claims will not be covered on the engine or suspension due to these being modified.

The dealer has offered a (discounted) warranty which they say includes cover on modified vehicles however the reviews of this warranty company aren't great and the general consensus are that most third party warranties aren't worth much regardless.

Shall I run a mile because it's been modified? From my searches it seems the suspension and engines on these things have been pretty reliable, so maybe I'm overthinking this and should just take the plunge and not worry about it?
