Alfa 156 electrics
Discussion
I bought meself a shiney and apparently good condition '99 156 1.8 a couple of weeks ago, and the first job I got round to doing was installing the hands-free kit I'd bought. Sadly, and I don't know how, in pulling my power feeds from the radio (constant power) and the cigarette lighter (only on when ignition is on) I've managed to lose power to my electric windows and - more importantly - the brake lights.
I've not touched anything apart from what I've described above, and I've checked all the fuses. Can't get hold of wiring diagrams anywhere and Halfords doesn't seem to think Alfas are important enough to need Haynes manuals, so I'm a bit stuck.
Any ideas?

Hmm Italian electrics. I switched my lights on yesterday and now the dash is completely dead no speedo, temp, fuel gauge, milometer. Front windows don't work and no front or rear side lights. B*gger!!!
Mr RAC and I have checked every possible fuse combination so IMHO and IHHO it would appear to be one of the control units. RAC extended warranty so Alfa Garage tomorrow unless someone can diagnose fault and let me know asap to save me some time
