over the last 1500 miles or so, I've noticed that the clutch in my 147 GTA is biting further and further down the clutch pedals travel .... almost like a cable is stretching and the clutch isn't being released properly. (my guess, I have no idea what the mechanism is)
It's got to the point where it's biting almost at the end of the pedals travel, and it's occasionally difficult selecting gears, most notably first and backwards (ok then, reverse).
Has anyone got any hints and tips, or do I call my dealer and scare a credit card to death? (at 45,000 miles and 30 months, a warranty issue could be an interesting discussion)
cheers.

Clutch is hydraulic & it sound like the slave cylinder isstarting to die or seize. Not a fortune (by Alfa standards)!
