hi all thanks first to all the lads who posted on my last question, my Alfa 156 t spark 1.8 petrol is in the garage so far been quoted 172 quid to replace the water pump and timing belt, is this a good deal?, as i have not a clue, if this is not the problem how much can i expect to pay for the gasket head to be repaired?.

Sounds good, but make sure they replace the timing belt tensioners while they are in there as those are the bits which tend to go.
