GTV alloy upgrade - where to buy from ?

Afternoon all

I am thinking of buying a GTV in the next few weeks and need a bit of advice regarding alloys. I have about 3-3.5k to spend. The ones available tend to have the smaller alloys on (the ones with little holes, not the 16" teardrop ones). I much prefer the 16" teardrop, or even better the 17" teledial wheels.

How easy is it to buy a second hand set of these wheels? and how much would that set me back?

Also, any advice generally on buying a GTV within my price range would be gratefully recieved.

teardrops are about £200 including tyres.
Teledials are rare and expensive £500+ but look the part.

Also worth noting that if you want a set of 16" teardrops, there are usually a few available 2nd hand due to people upgrading to 17" teledials or others.

2nd hand 17" teledials are very rare.

I too have a GTV with the 16" Teardrop alloys.
I've been looking for 17" Teledials too and they are v hard to find. But before i go and spend some money (if i ever find a set) could you tell me if ican just bolt the 17" wheels on?

Ive now gone and bought myself a nice red GTV 2.0. Its got the teardrop alloys so im happy (although i will be on the lookout for any 17" alloys for sale).

Ill get some pics posted as soon as I pick it up

If you do go for 17's at some point ... then watch out for the offset.

Wheels from 156/147's do fit, but will sit in at the rear. You can get spacers to sort that problem.

Oh and well worth asking Alfa Dealers if they have any deals on Alloys.

Got my 17's from the local dealer for £400 including tyres & fitting!

Were these teledials? I was quoted £149 for ONE 17" teledial with no tyres by my local Alfa dealer. How did u manage that price?
