ipod compatibility

Hello,

Can anyone tell me about wiring my ipod into the factory fit stereo in my Brera?

I have asked the dealer who told me that the dealer fit connection has been recalled due to a fault and they don't know when they will have a replacement. Apparently the leads were recalled 4 months ago!

Has anyone got any ideas about alternative connectors?
