Fresh from the redesigns of the TT-Sport and TT-R, Abt Sportsline has turned their attention to the TT Roadster. The firm from Kempton in Germany has a long tradition of modifying Audis, including the first TT, so it’s no surprise they have moved to the new model.
The Audi tuners have had their modest design pens out and added skirts all round – must be the hairdressers influence - the front showing off a new design around the fog lights and the rear aimed to provide additional down force along with the modified rear wing.
The new look includes a number of power upgrade packages taking the 3.2 litre engine to 355bhp from the standard 247bhp, powering the car to 60mph in 5 seconds. The 2.0 litre engine has not been spared, with the addition of Abt’s special iS technology, the turbo engine has been improved to 300bhp.
To match the power improvement the car has an uprated Abt sports brake system with 380x34 millimetre discs as well as an Abt suspension kit for more stability in what Abt call “ticklish situations”.
