Motorists are faced with a frustrating diversion when they try to park at Tipton railway station.
The car park they need is closed but the one they are meant to use is 20 metres away, as the crow flies.
Except it's an incredible FIVE MILE diversion when done by car.
Their car park is closed while an underpass beneath Queen Street is built to cut traffic congestion in the town.
So drivers are being sent past Dudley Port Station, which is on the same line, before reaching Tipton Station.
Sandwell Council said the work would not be finished until autumn 2009.
