MotorsportDays LIVE is upon us; we're less than a week away with our ear defenders at the ready and can almost smell the hot rubber from the more than 200 cars taking part. The MSD team are building on the success of the inaugural event last year with even more exhibitors, race cars, performance cars and industry experts; all on hand to provide you with the best experience possible at the UK's iconic F1 circuit.
So with that said, we thought we'd provide you with some highlights on why you should attend this superb event, and what you have to look forward to if youalready have your tickets.
1) MotorsportDays LIVE is the only event in Europe where you can sample race cars on circuit. This means you have unrivalled access to some of the most exciting cars in the business, helping you to choose which motorsport path you want to take next year. Meet the teams and sample the cars of 750 Motor Club, F1000, ff Corse, EnduroKA and Volkswagen Racing Cup to name but a few. Most will have limited space so if there's a particular car you're interested in trying, you should contact the team ahead of attending to ensure you can secure a spot.
2) Take your own car around the International Circuit with us in one of our public track sessions. The PistonHeads package is £70 for two 15-minute sessions, including full two-day access for two people to the whole event. We're down to our last few slots left, and as prices will go up from £70 to £90 on the day, so it's wise to get it booked beforehand!
3) Want to learn how to fine tune the technical setup on your track or race car? Join a Power Maxed Racing technical set-up clinic to understand how the team set up their BTCC Vauxhall Astras. There are six clinics across the two days.
4) There are more than 150 exhibitors showcasing the latest cars, products, engineering and technology. Witness live product launches and demonstrations, both in the exhibitor hall and on the legendary International Circuit.
5) There will be over 40 industry experts speaking within the educational conference seminars, providing you with their insight into motorsport including media training with ITV's BTCC presenter Louise Goodman.
6) We're turning F1 pit garages 1 & 2 into our hub for the weekend. We'll have the PH team EnduroKA and Matt's Restoracing Porsche Boxster there for you to have a good poke around. We're quite partial to a good chin-wag too, so come and say hello!
7) Whether you already compete or are completely new to the sport, staff from the UK's governing body and membership organisation, Motorsport UK, will be onsite to answer your questions. You can even obtain or renew your race licence on site.
8) New for 2019 is the Engineering & Technology Show, made for professionals and businesses within the trade. It's an opportunity to meet people and network at the end of the racing season, utilise your thinking and enhance your business opportunities before winter testing and the next season begins.
