As we have already established the boys over at 9ff are bonkers, but in a good way of course. But now they have turned the craziness up to 11 with plans to create a hotter version of the GT9 supercar. Yes that’s the 253mph, 970bhp GT9 supercar we are talking about.
The firm is panning on turning up the boost pressure and tweak the ECU to produce around 1,110bhp and 774lb ft of twist. The car will be powered by the same 4.2-litre flat-six, which sits in the middle of the Porsche-esque body, albeit with chopped roof and lengthened body.
The new car, dubbed GT9R, will have various new cooling ducts, a different front splitter and a rear wing. It’s not clear whether the car will be for the track only but we for one are hoping it’s not…
