Swiss tuner FAB-Design surely deserves a slap on the wrist for this latest piece of motoring excess – the so-called SLR ‘Desire’ is a remodelled Mercedes McLaren with carbon fibre appendages and extra power.
If it's carbon fibre, it must be good!
FAB claims 750bhp and 1,080NM for its SLR special, up from 626bhp and 780NM in the standard car, with the extra ponies partially liberated via a custom exhaust with triple pipes exiting behind each front wheel.
The eye-catching array of body mods includes a new front end and wings, a restyled bonnet, huge rear spoiler and diffuser package. The suspension has also been tweaked and the car runs on bespoke 20ins alloy wheels.
Want one? Well, you can’t, because FAB has apparently limited production to just 15 cars and all of them are said to have been snapped up by buyers from around the world. And as for the value... priceless!
