The Arash AF-10, the supercar that has been developed by Brit-based Iranian entrepreneur Arash Farboud, appears finally to be close to production.
Previously, only renderings of the AF10 have been seen, despite the fact that the car has been in development for five years and was originally earmarked for a 2007 launch.
Finally, though, the tiny Cambridgeshire-based outfit has apparently built an actual, real-life car and released these images on its website (though whether it's a working prototype, a full production car or a static model, we're not sure).
Motive power comes from GM's 550-horsepower 7.0-litre LS7 V8, with 475 lb ft of torque. Transmitting drive to the rear wheels is a six-speed Graziano GT-ME1 gearbox, while the wheels themselves are custom two-piece aluminium efforts, 19ins at the front, and 20ins at the rear.
Carbon ceramic discs and AP Racing brake calipers (eight-piston front, six-piston rear) help to slow the car, whose weight is kept low by a mix of carbon fibre and aluminium honeycomb - though the roll cage is steel.
When it finally does go on sale, the Arash AF-10 isn't going to be cheap - £320k is one figure being bandied about (by us, last year).
