Arash Farboud has released pictures of his latest creation, the Arash AF10. Arash is better known for his involvement with the Farboud GTS, but after a recent company name change that car is now known as the Farbio GTS.
GTS designer Arash remains a minority shareholder in Farbio, but has decided to focus most of his efforts to the new AF10, which will be produced under a new company called Arash Cars.
The AF10 has a carbon- fibre body and a carbon- fibre chassis giving a kerb weight of just 1,200kg. Arash has chosen the 7.0 Corvette V8 Z06 engine to power the AF10, and has fettled it to produce 530bhp by adding a new intake system along with a new exhaust. We can only wonder what Ferrari may be thinking as they look at these images- does it remind you of anything?
Arash Cars tell us that they will start customer deliveries in 2009, and those customers will have paid a price tag in the region of £170,000. Phase two of the car will see power coming from the supercharged V8 recently launched in the new Corvette ZR1. The supercharged model will be available in 2010.
