Birmingham's NEC will host the Great British AutoJumble and Automart from 10.00am on Sunday 9 January 2005. The show's organisers reckon it offers visitors "the largest selection of car-related products available under one roof". There is also a dedicated Automart section where an extensive range of used cars will be available to buy.
The Great British AutoJumble section will have over 500 stands with a wide range of automotive products and services available including motoring memorabilia, reconditioned, new and old car parts for thousands of marques both past and present, literature, tools and car care products. Live demonstrations will take place showcasing new automotive products and informative restoration displays.
Automart’s car sales area promises a wide variety of cars, classic and more modern, with thousands of used new and old vehicles available to view and buy at the show. Vendors will have access to over 6,000 visitors attending the show and if you have a car to sell it can be displayed in the Automart section for just £25.00.
Show organiser Andy Rouse said, “The great thing about this show for both visitors and vendors alike is being able to autojumble in comfort, no rain, wind or snow! This show is the largest indoor event of its kind in the UK and every year it gets bigger and bigger. I think that many people do not realise that much of what they consider to be the ‘junk that fills their garages’, is actually worth something. We see many individuals selling the contents of their garages and attics in an attempt to free up storage space and recoup some of their Christmas outlay!”
Members of the public that have an attic full of automotive magazines or memorabilia of any description and wish to take a stand can do so from as little as £65.00. Anyone wishing to book a stand or display a vehicle should contact the show organisers on 0121 7673463.
To beat the queues, you can buy tickets for the show in advance via www.necgroup.co.uk at a discount price of £6.00 (with a 50p transaction fee) or by calling 0870 730 0196. Tickets on the day are £7.00 and car parking is free, as is entry for all under 14s.
