A woman stopped by police in America was found to have 16-month-old girl unrestrained in the back seat of her car and a 24-pack of beer strapped in by a seat belt, it has been reported.
Tina D Williams, 46, allegedly ran a red light before being stopped by officers.
She was charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a valid licence and child abuse, a prison official told reporters.
When she was stopped officers allegedly found the 24-pack of Busch beer strapped in the passenger-side seat belt, while the 16-month-old was in the back seat with 20-year-old Amber Tedrick, who is the toddler's mother.
It is not clear whether the mother would face charges and Williams said she didn’t know why the child wasn’t restrained, said officers.
