If you’re going to rob a jewellery store, you might as well do it in style – and that’s exactly what two armed robbers did.
The pair, aged between 40 and 55, arrived at the 'appointment only' Graff Diamonds store on Sloane Street in a chauffeur driven Bentley Continental Flying Spur.
Despite not having any appointment, after alighting the ‘Spur they were nevertheless waved into the store. Once inside, they drew hand guns and stole £10million worth of gems before calmly walking back to their 'getaway car' and making an escape.
Apparently the be-suited bandits had hired the car from an exclusive chauffeur service especially for the raid.
The Flying Squad said that the Bentley ‘lulled staff into a false sense of security’...
