This is the new Brabus E V12 Coupe, a two-door version of the ought-to-be-sectioned V12, twin-turbo E-class that the Bottrop-based tuner revealed at the Frankfurt motor show last September.
Like the Brabus E V12 saloon, the 6.3-litre coupe develops 789bhp and a chassis-bending 1047lb ft of torque. Performance is therefore predictably prodigious, with the E V12 coupe able to sprint to 62mph from rest in 3.7secs and hit 231mph flat out.
To help manage all the power there are new bigger brakes hidden behind the 19-inch alloys and uprated coil over suspension.
As with its saloon sibling, the coupe also gets a liberal sprinkling of carbon fibre bits, including a dramatic carbon panel over the rear wheels and a carbon rear diffuser.
Inside there's more carbon fibre (on the, centre console, door cards and dash), while Brabus also provides lightweight leather seats and a new 'sports' steering wheel.
And the price for such carbon-based V12 nuttiness? The Brabus E V12 Coupe will set you back at least 478,000 euros (£434k).
