Bugatti showed-off four 'even more limited' edition
Veyrons at last weekend’s Concorso d’Eleganza.
Built to commemorate Bugatti’s centennial year, the four Veyrons pay homage to the iconic Type 35 Grand Prix race car. Between 1924 and 1934 the Bugatti Type 35 secured almost 2,000 race victories earning the car and its drivers enduring fame.
Each of the four special Veyrons on display at the Villa d'Este event relates to a specific driver. The blue Veyron is dedicated to French driver Jean-Pierre Wimille, the maroon car pays tribute to Italian racer Achille Varzi, the white model to Hermann zu Leiningen from Germany, while the dark green Veyron celebrates the achievements of British racing legend Malcolm Campbell.
These ultra exclusive Veyrons get unique eight-spoke alloys, as well as aluminium highlights that include the door handles, grille, air vents and mirrors. They've all been sold, apparently, so this may be your only chance to see them before they disappear into private collections around the world.
