All sorts of esoterica can be found on eBay, but it's not often that an
entire mobile racing school comes up for grabs
. But that's what is currently listed on eBay over in the States - four identical race-prepped Honda Civics (of 'EJ' generation for the benefit of codename fans), a Dodge Grand Caravan (not, we presume, destined for the track)... and an entire articulated lorry (or semi truck as we probably ought to describe it). Oh, and all the equipment you'll need to run a racing school - including 300 traffic cones.
Even more astonishing is the fact that this cornucopia of racy toys is up for a 'buy it now' price of $79,000. That's a whisker under £50k for four racing cars, a 'team van' and a massive truck. Sounds like fabulous value to us.
Okay, so the civics are running a single-cam D15 engine, so they're not going to scare you silly in terms of pace (I had a similar-spec 94 Civic coupe and can confirm that its 102bhp engine is most definitely not capable of setting your pants on fire), but they do look properly prepped, and - come on - they come with their own truck... it's like Micro Machines for grown-ups.
I must admit that I'm mighty glad it's in California and that the ad doesn't actually have that long left to run, or else I would be pestering my bank manager...
