Flashy aftermarket wheels are not perhaps the first thing a true car enthusiast would go shopping for. But these new wheels from Miami’s 360 Forged should serve a valuable purpose, despite being a bit bling.
The Straight 5ive Carbon 20” wheels are, you guessed it, made out of carbon fibre and measure 8.5in across up front and up to 13in across in the rear. They have been in development for almost two years, while the company itself has only been around since 2004.
The wheel design features a forged aluminium outer shell with a carbon fibre cross section. Other dimensions are available, including 19 and 22in sizes, although it’s probably best to avoid the latter unless the only motoring you do is drive-bys.
The wheel designed for the F430 includes a gloss black lip with a Ferrari red stripe. This particular 430 also features a Gruppe M carbon-fiber intake system, a RennSport One and EvoMS ECU tune, a Novitec high-flow exhaust system with the catalytic converter removed, a Hamann lower lip and new H&R coilover springs.
