US truckers have a history of weirdness
New York police have just revealed the case of a truck driver's mate who bludgeoned his colleague to death with a blunt instrument - while the victim was driving down the highway in the truck they shared.
Apparently the driver, one Robert Hardy of Miamisburg, lost control of the vehicle during his death and crashed the rig into some trees. The alleged attacker, Rudy Arnette, faces a second-degree murder rap, and possibly a wooden spoon for an entry in the Darwin Awards that resulted in such an epic fail. Police say the two men 'didn't like working together', which suggests the US may not be the irony-free zone we all thought it was.

the US media is reporting another US truck death crash
in Buffalo. This time the unfortunate victim was a mother of two children stranded at the roadside after hitting a deer.
Driver Thomas Wallace failed to notice the roadside casualty, and wiped her out with his truck. The reason for his inattention? Police say he watching a laptop streaming porn into his cab as he drove.
