The DVLNI- the Northern Ireland equivalent of the DVLA- has managed to lose a CD containing 7685 pieces of driver information.
The CD was send to an address in Coventry and never arrived. Although the data did not contain any bank details, it does contain names, addresses and car details of all 7685 drivers mentioned on the records.
The information has literally just been leaked, so no official word from the DVLNI, however we are amazed that data continues to be sent without the necessary security measures needed.
