Images of updated Japanese limo hit the internet, including new 'F Sport' trim

These are the first images of the new Lexus LS, leaked onto the web a few days before the facelifted version of ToMoCo's flagship limo gets its official debut in San Francisco.

If these pics are anything to go by, the refreshed LS has been given

a GS-style makeover

by Lexus's styling department. Main visual differences for the new car seem to include new headlamps, revised tail lights and Lexus's now signature gaping grille.

It's also reported that the car in these pictures is the new F sport version, an M Sport-esque model that gets tweaked exhausts, a rear diffuser, new front and rear bumpers, and new side skirts.

Question is, does it work or is it a bit too sport-tastic for a limo-barge flagship?
