The full price list for the Ferrari 458 Italia has been released. The basic list price for the 562bhp V8 supercar will be £169,545 on-the-road, making it £29,245 more expensive than a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 and around £19,545 more than McLaren's new MP4-12C. (But at least its name is more economical than both!)
The options list is, as you'd expect from Ferrari, an expensive affair. 51 decadent options are available to the discerning (and not-so-discerning) customer, including numerous 'colour on request' and other more personalised options, allowing plenty of scope for customisation. The list adds up to a whopping £63,668 in total (though obviously you can't have everything, unless you want several spare interior trim sets and paint finishes).
Some of the highlights include carbon fibre racing seats at £4,276, with the rest of the carbon interior ringing up at another £5,782. You can protect your expensive paintwork with anti-stonechip film for £1,840 and a spare 20" wheel will set you back £1,156. The famous Ferrari luggage is available as always, this time at £6,745 for the full set, and if you've still not squeezed everything in a matching 'suitecase' [sic] can be had for another £1349.
But if you are burning money, you should probably also nab a 'handy fire extinguisher' for £472. Just to be safe.
