Following our story on Monday (link below) about ex-AM DB9 designer Henrik Fisker starting new car company Fisker Coachbuild, we hear that the cars will be priced between US$180,000 to US$250,000 -- that's £95,000 to £133,000 at current rates. Fisker's partner Bernhard Koelher said the first prototype will be ready by the end of 2005.
The company is to be based in south California and "will build cars to appeal to the global market", with the objective of combining "beautiful design with existing world-class engineering. The focus will be on designing and manufacturing exclusive high-end sports cars, which will be limited to 150 units per design and sold under the Fisker brand name."
