Could you bring yourself to do this?
There’s no denying that the Nissan GT-R is a genuine supercar with world-beating performance, but perhaps it doesn’t quite tick all the boxes.
The typical flamboyance of the supercar world, typified by Zonda, Koenigsegg and Lamborghini, is missing, but now LSD has provided the answer to every GT-R owner's dreams in the shape of these scissor-style doors.
The patented wing door hinges allow the door to slide outwards and up, and are apparently very easy to fit as they use the mounting points of the original hinges. The LSD conversion allows a maximum opening angle of 30 degrees - just about enough to squeeze yourself into the GT-R’s Recaros - and they even conform to stringent German safety standards.
If you’re looking at your new GT-R thinking it is now inferior to this LSD creation, then fear not. The company can un-hinge your GT-R, and any number of other vehicles, for the princely sum of £1700.
