Having driven more than 150,000km in Bugattis since 2011, nobody knows the Molsheim hypercars quite like Le Mans winner Andy Wallace. So, who better to talk us around the Chiron?
Because, let's be honest, while we can memorise the spec and admire new configurations, precious few of us will ever get the opportunity to do anything like this in a Chiron. A sit in one, maybe. So to have the whole driving process, from getting in, to launching, to going extremely fast, explained by Wallace in his uniquely unassuming and modest way is a lovely accompaniment to your morning brew.
Bugatti has separated the series into five - First Things First, The Inside, Drive Modes, Launch Control and The Speed Key - which are all fairly explanatory and embedded below. Furthermore, however inured to hypercar excess you might think you are after all these years, seeing a second key inserted into a Bugatti, before witnessing it going on to 420km/h (or 261mph) remains very, very cool.
So this is your binge watch goal for today, an entire series of Bugatti Chiron in five episodes. Handily, though, it should only take 10 minutes or so - and is definitely worth the effort.
