Hopefully it's a problem that will be avoided by the Hyundai i30 N, a car that PH remains rather excited about, as it has been subjected to a UK test programme. See look, there's a video and everything.
Albert Biermann features in the video, stating that "We have to make sure that on these challenging UK roads the driving performance is also well suited to everyday use." The roads in question? It does appear to have gained a set of trendy - and rather horrid - wheels with the coloured lip between rim and tyre, so let's hope that's just part of the pre-production disguise. The car here uses the manual gearbox too, the same as will be found in the i30 N at the N24 in a couple of weeks time. Hyundai says the race will offer more "valuable insights about necessary refinements and potential performance enhancements" ahead of the car's launch, which is due in the summer. About the same time as the Civic Type R then...
