Perhaps ex-F1 driver Johnny Herbert is saving up for a new Nissan GT-R, as his old Skyline has just gone up for sale.
The 1998 R33 is lot 205 at a Coys auction taking place at the Autosport International Show at the Birmingham NEC on January 12, which incorporates the PistonHeads Show.
But whereas the standard R30 Skyline was said to be pushing out something in the region of 300bhp this obviously wasn’t enough for our Johnny.
The car has been extensively modified by Abbey Motorsport, one of the best known Skyline tuners in the country, and the engine now produces around 550bhp.
There are AP Racing brakes, a personalised plate, and the car is said to be in great condition.
All this for an estimated £13,000 - £15,000.
An MPV would have been a better option
Also for sale will be Jamie Oliver's Aston Martin that he never used but the real crowd pleaser has to be a Lamborghini Countach once owned by Eighties Jackson-esque hitmakers Five Star.
Finished in Candy Apple Blue (read purple) the Lambo must have been a real squeeze for the band but what a way to travel.
The car is expected to fetch £48,000 to £55,000.
