Is it just because Lamborghini has chosen the Paris show to unveil a new something or other that it has come over all Da Vinci Code with its press releases? The company has released a mysterious teaser image and a frankly silly tag line to accompany the news that there will be something different on its stand.
‘It’s not just a Lamborghini. It’s a new world,’ whispers the press release. So is the carmaker setting up a new cult, or perhaps opening a showroom on Mars. Who knows?
What we do know is that there is an image to go with these mesmerising words showing twin-hexagonal exhaust outlets, a honeycomb grille and a carbon fibre diffuser. There’s also a large plastic-looking plate above all this. Rumour has it that the new car could be a Murcielago SV, or even a concept showing its replacement. We’ll just have to wait and see but we’re hoping that it will be hidden in the Louvre.
Today, we have heard rumours that this car will be FRONT engined. We heard this from a reliable source so it's very likely that this information is correct, but we'll have to wait until the Paris show to be sure. Other reports filtering into PH Towers suggest it will be FOUR-DOOR so we'll keep you posted...
