Yep, it's that time of year again! Another legendary Le Mans weekend is nearly upon us and, as usual, we'll be hosting our equally as legendary (OK, maybe not quite as legendary...) Friday Service on June 16th to get the weekend started off right.
This year we'll be heading back to the Classic British Welcome at the Val-de-Vray centre in Saint-Saturnin. There we'll be joined by an amazing assembly of over 1,000 classic and sports cars to get you in the mood for the next day's racing. The celebrated brand of this year's CBW will be Marcos, with prizes for best Marcos and Mini Marcos being announced at the indoor exhibition. Therefore it goes without saying that, if you have a Marcos, you should get in touch for the chance to be even more involved on the day. There will also be the Saint-Sat' Cavalcade at 4pm, led by open tourers to the 24 Hours Drivers' Parade in Le Mans town centre. Of course, the weekend isn't just about the cars, as the amazing atmosphere plays a big part drawing the crowds it does year after year. To that end there will also be live music, bars, restaurants, a cinema and paintings all based on the Le Mans 24 Hours. Oh, and special guest drivers from motorsport past and present!
If you're heading to Le Mans, then this is definitely the best way to kick start your weekend. We have space for 200 cars, so if you have a classic or sports car that you want to bring along, just sign up to our calendar here to secure your space. If you would like to avoid traffic, and who wouldn't, then we advise getting there for the 9am opening time, and certainly advise against arriving between 10am and 12pm! You can also check out CBW's website here for any further details you may need. See you there!
