But when will we actually get to drive it?
Being huge fans of Lee Noble’s creations here at PH, we were intrigued by news which has filtered through from Noble’s Italian importer, UK Garage.
According to them, the production version of the long-awaited M15 will feature a powerplant from a fairly unlikely source: the Volvo XC90.
Thanks to a healthy input of cash from a private investor, the larger than anticipated engine will be far from standard in this new application and, like the V6 Mondeo engine before it, will gain a couple of turbochargers to boost power to around 650bhp.
Tipping the scales at around 1,100kg, the M15 is 30% stiffer than the M12 and has better weight distribution despite the larger engine.
Performance wise, 0-60mph should be despatched in around 3.0 seconds, while UK Garage is estimating that they will market the car at around €150,000. That’s around £104,000 of our English pounds.
