Peugeot 307: nothing but trouble
A man is going to crush his Peugeot 307 and raise money for its replacement and for charity in the process.
It follows what appears to have been a catalogue of woes, ranging from dashboard lights that didn't light to power and brake failures. The last straw was the exhaust falling off.
Owner Mark Fell-Crook from Prestatyn, Denbighshire reckoned he'd had loads of trouble from it since buying it in 2002 even though it's only got 30,000 miles under its wheels. So, inspired by an event in The Simpsons, he plans to crush the car and return the resulting cube to his Peugeot dealer.
He hopes the stunt will raise £13,199 to buy a new car and any surplus funds will be donated to Cancer Research. The crush is planned for January 2007
