With our Mercedes-Benz World Sunday Service now sold out, we’re getting ahead of the curve and launching tickets early for the next one. On Sunday, April 19th, PistonHeads Sunday Service heads to MINI Plant Oxford, the birthplace of over 4.4 million BMW-era Minis since 2001. It’s been a few years since our last visit (2019), and with the PH community’s well-documented affection for the feisty hatchback, a return was long overdue.
A quarter of a century after the reborn Mini burst onto the scene, it feels only right to mark the occasion at the place where it all happens. Expect a proper celebration of Britain’s favourite small car - without having to squeeze three of them through a sewer pipe.
The on-site museum will be open for us to explore, featuring everything from classic Minis and movie cars to rare and special modern examples. If the weather plays ball, there may even be a couple of extra one-offs rolled out for the morning.
Mini will also be displaying current models, with team members on hand for a chat. We’ll be there too with the usual PH merch stand. Burnout BBQ is joining us for breakfast, alongside additional coffee and catering in the parking area. Howden will also be along for the fun with their team to talk all things insurance. Our auction team will also be on site, so if you’re looking to sell with us, feel free to come over and play the valuation game.
And, of course, the PH car park will be a show in and of itself. As always, all makes and models are welcome, though there will be a dedicated forward-parking area for anyone arriving in their Mini. We’re currently trialling Eventbrite for our Sunday Service events. You can sign up to be notified of new events here, or join our 2026 events thread.
