Right, so you’ve heard about TartanHoon, but the next trip takes us even further afield, into the depths of France.
MiniHoon 2008 is in April and promises to be an epic trip, lasting five days and winding through the beautiful French areas of Champagne, Burgundy and the Massif Central.
For those of you who can’t wait until Le Mans to enjoy some of France’s best roads, the MiniHoon will be perfect.
There will be more driving than on TartanHoon, with around seven hours a day, but the scenery will be equally as spectacular.
The journey takes us in search of the Millau Bridge, the tallest vehicular bridge in the world.
The MiniHoon sets off from Kent on April 16 with the first stop off in Beaune.
Day two takes you down the Rhone Valley into the foothills of the Massif Central.
The next day the trip takes you through the volcanic mountains of the Puy.
The penultimate day goes through the Parc du Perche to Rouen, home for many years to the French Grand Prix, where you can spend a little time discovering the old road circuit of Rouen les Essarts.
There will be a professional guide with a mechanic in a support vehicle.
Drivers will get a printed route book including a full itinerary, driving directions and places to visit.
