This weekend a new car museum opens in Mumby, Lincolnshire. This one is different though - it's displaying a collection of 4,000 models from the toys you played with as a child to the toys your children play with now. Expect to see grown men making revving noises as they spy the race cars and nee-nah noises as the police section comes into view...

In addition to the collection of model cars, "On Your Marques" also features one of the UK’s largest four-track slot car layouts for visitors to test their driving skill.

The museum is the brainchild of Chris and Jane Dring who moved to Lincolnshire ten years ago looking for suitable premises to display their ever-increasing collection of model cars. "We wanted to build a museum that enabled us to share our collection and love of cars with as many people as possible. It’s been a long hard slog, but we’re looking forward to welcoming the first visitors" said Chris Dring.

On Your Marques is located at Thrumber Marsh Lane, Mumby on the A52 between Skegness and Mablethorpe on the Lincolnshire coast. Opening hours are from 10.00am to 5.00pm from April until October.
