Few VW products have been safe from the tuning mitts of MTM, so it’s logical that they have now tweaked the turbocharged 2.0 TFSI found in the KTM X-Bow. There are no half measures here too, with MTM claiming they are about to squeeze 380bhp out of the unit.
Torque figures are expected to rise to around 350lb ft too, which all means that this X-Bow should be seriously quick. 0-60mph should drop below four seconds and the top speed should rise to truly uncomfortable levels.
Luckily MTM is planning a range of brake, wheel and suspension upgrades to keep the thing on the tarmac too, but we’ll have to wait and see exactly what…
