Pagani Automobili isn't a name we have cause to write too often. Not through any lack of desire of course, the Italian marque continuing to produce some of the most strikingly beautiful and breathtakingly fast ways to move about the surface of the earth.

almost nine years after its 'final' Cinque edition, we love them all.
Despite the many variations though, only 137 Zondas have rolled out of the San Cesario factory since the company was founded in 1992, making them very rare indeed. And increasingly valuable too - not that they were cheap to begin with.
So, to help owners better maintain their pride and joy - or investment, depending on how cynically you look at it - Pagani has launched Rinascimento, a restoration program aimed at returning its cars to their original factory condition. And although they may not match the vintage of vehicles from manufacturers with similar schemes, it's putting no less effort into the process.
A dedicated team of Rinascimento engineers will focus only on one project at a time, disassembling the car and examining each component as they rebuild it, and ending up with a product likely even better than when it was new. Along the way they'll collate photos, sketches, and technical data to produce a unique book showcasing the work done - a receipt, Pagani style.
In a post on Facebook, Horacio Pagani explained the decision, saying, "To bring back the light and the original splendor of these masterpieces, is a pleasure as well as a great responsibility. Our customers rely on us because we are the only ones in the world capable of rebuilding and restoring Paganis as they came out of our Atelier. We want to give our customers the emotion to be thrilled as the first time."
