Peugeot has priced the new 407 Coupé at £21,900 to £30,900 OTR -- a price that that's way out of line with its competitors. For example, the Hyundai Coupe costs £10,000 less.
It'll consist of a three-model range the S, SE and GT, with four powertrain configurations. It goes on sale in the UK in January 2006.
The one to have is likely to be the 3.0-litre V6 petrol engined car with either a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox, the manual GT version costing £28,400. Lower models get a 2.2-litre petrol engine and a six-speed manual gearbox, or the jointly developed Ford/PSA Peugeot Citroën 2.7-litre V6 HDi diesel engine with particulate emission filter (FAP) and a six-speed automatic gearbox.
