Honda is to unveil a series of concept bikes at the Tokyo motor show, in December.

Topping the bill is the bizarre Motor Compo, which looks more than a little like a toaster on wheels.
According to Honda, this electric vehicle offers the convenience of a two-wheeler with the added bonus of a removable power pack that can be used on other gadgets.
Moving swiftly onwards, we have the E-Canopy, a three wheeled electric scooter with a built-in trunk and roof.
A mobility scooter for the future? Nope, according to Honda this could be utilised for business use such as delivery work.

Finally - and fair play this does actually does look very cool - there is the RC-E. This race replica looks amazing and is the size of a 250cc bike, says Honda.
It is powered by an electric motor and if, as Honda reckons, this could be a taste of the future, it is one we like. Will any of these bikes ever see the light of day? In reality probably not, but at least it creates a few headlines around the world...
