Porsche has re-opened its Leipzig plant to the public after an eight month hiatus during the expansion of the factory to accommodate the new Panamera model line-up.
The factory has been increased by 22,000 square metres to allow room for the increase in production that the new model requires. During the expansion, visitors were excluded from the site but free tours of the factory have once again resumed.
Visitors to the newly expanded plant will get to see production of the Panamera up close, with a two-hour tour of the Porsche facilities. There’s also the chance to combine the visit with driver or passenger rides in the Porsche Cayenne, with a variety of Porsche experiences on track and off-road.
Tours of the factory can be booked through the factory website.
