If you're really in a hurry to get your Labrador out for a walk or an antique wardrobe needs delivering ASAP, then Skoda Australia (yes, we know it's a long way away but bear with us, this is interesting) has the car for you.
It's called the Skoda Octavia RS-P and it's got 254bhp and 258lb ft of torque, created by remapping the ECU of the Standard Octavia vRS's 197bhp motor, sticking on a three-inch stainless steel exhaust and fitting a bigger air filter.
Other tweaks includes 355mm front brake discs with 310mm items at the rear, black 18-inch alloys, Yokohama Advans, a green-painted cross brace in the boot, front and rear strut braces and fully adjustable dampers.
Sadly, you won't be able to walk into your local Skoda showroom and order one - it's a one-off project designed to promote the new Octavia. More's the pity.
