You wait hours for one Veyron...
Ahh, it’s a tough life for the boys over at Top Gear magazine.
Apparently they recently went to Abu Dhabi and were looking for a near-million pound Bugatti Veyron for a photoshoot – but bagged three instead.
‘No other place in the world could we have found three Bugattis in a span of 48 hours,’ said a relieved Charlie Turner, the creative director for the magazine.
Veyron and Stig helmet. Seperated at birth?
The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority reportedly put the feelers out for a Veyron but in the end three were offered.
They belong to local owners who wish to remain anonymous.
It is understood the Corniche area and Jabel Hafeet were briefly closed off for the shoot, which featured the Stig.
The best bit is that these weren’t even three run-of-the-mill Veyrons – two were rare monotone painted versions and the other was an ultra-rare Pur Sang bare aluminium and carbon edition.
