Cast your mind back 20 years and which cars come to mind? For many PHers, it'll likely be models such as the Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth, Citroen AX or Alfa 164. Those PHers would be wrong though because, shocking as it may be, 1987 was not 20 years ago - and it hasn't been for about a decade!
20 years ago we were in fact treated to such 90s delights as Ferrari's 355, the Peugeot 106 Rallye and the last air-cooled Porsche 911. There are many cars from the era that would make excellent purchases, but choosing one you'd actually daily drive is more of a challenge than you may think. There are many factors to consider, foremost amongst them appreciation, practicality, safety and economy. Our OP seems to have settled on a BMW 528i SE, whilst others have suggested a Jaguar X300, Mercedes CE 300 and, in one of the most PH contributions of all time, user 'Byff' has submitted their very own TVR Cerbera for consideration - a car they say is genuinely used daily!
