The BMW 507, that beautiful cruiser of the 1950s, was styled by Count Albrecht Goetz, who also went on to design the Datsun 240Z. Talented chap.
It has always been a rare car but here's something rarer still: a boat powered by the 507's 3.2-litre V8. Built in conjunction with Rambeck and BMW, it is currently owned by Felipe Garcia. Under his watch and with help from BMW experts it has been painstakingly restored to the stunning condition you see here.
This isn't a new video but definitely one that deserves to be shared, if only for that magnificent noise. What a way to travel the ocean. Watch and enjoy!
