Since our last set of pictures on the DB11, it has been confirmed that it will use a new
5.2-litre twin-turbo V12
and there's been the infamous 'Phillippe'
information too. Now, just a few weeks from its Geneva show debut, the latest raft of DB11 images have emerged.
Plenty of Mercedes switchgear on show
Even with the disguise, the
on this car is evident from the front. The headlights are slimmer and the grille lower than we're used to on recent Astons; from what you can make out through the camo it looks good. The slim lights at the back have more than a hint of the
to them as well. The size is hard to ascertain with no other traffic around but it looks to be a little smaller than a DB9. Not long to wait now!
Perhaps more interesting for the time being is this car's interior. It's a fascinating amalgamation of the familiar Aston (see the gearchange buttons) and vents with some new Mercedes bits, including the instruments, wheel and touchpad controller. How much Mercedes influence will make it to production? Start your speculation now...
Certainly there will be more info forthcoming from Aston Martin over the coming weeks as the reveal nears. It promises to be one of the most exciting cars at Geneva this year so we'll keep you posted as soon as there's anything more to know.
