Words can only help so much with describing what a supercharged 310hp Caterham with a power to weight ratio knocking on the door of 600hp per tonne is like to drive. And plenty have already been shared following our story on the
new 620R Seven
Enough talk though - here's some video of the car in action in the hands of our man at the 'ring Dale Lomas. And, yes, we know we've already had one video of a Caterham going round the Nordschleife this week. But if you want to see what another 70hp and a Sadev sequential do for the experience click here. And if you only watch one bit skip to around 2:20 for a properly OMG demonstration of why Flugplatz is so named...
The car Dale's driving is a development prototype and a few steps on from the R300 derived one he drove last year. That car was a manual and very much a test mule, this one closer to what you'll be able to buy but still work in progress. Oh, and the affable chap beside him is Graham MacDonald, Caterham's boss. Bonkers supercharged prototype, Nurburgring and the CEO beside you. No pressure, eh?
