Midlands Authorised TVR Dealer Peter Smith Sports Cars have announced that their services have been extended to include TVR engine repairs, mainly focusing on the Speed Six unit.
The companies purpose built repair facility in Hatton just outside Derby has a specific “clean” area fully equipped with TVR specific tools for the purpose of engine repairs.
Head Technician Chris Cliff who has over 22 years engine building experience recently spent several days in the Engine production department at TVR’s headquarters in Blackpool familiarising himself with the build process of the Speed Six engine.
Also following the closure of the TVR factories accident repair facility Peter Smith Sports Cars have been authorised to carry out chassis replacements (previously all chassis repair work had to be sent to the factory). This service will be performed by the company’s in house bodyshop.
