Good news! All 10 of Lister's
Knobbly Jaguars
have been sold, no mean feat given each was a quarter of a million pounds. It will also be a boost for Lister's plans to race the Knobbly in a series of events through this year.
Yes, the old days are looking good from here...
The Knobbly is making its public debut at the Autosport Show (don't forget to visit
The Pie and Piston
if you are attending!) where Lister has also confirmed additional cars could be produced. Following Brian Lister's death last year, the company is considering three individual final editions. Each will give 'a distinct nod' to the Knobbly's racing heritage. Lister's chairman Lawrence Whittaker said: "With the recent sad passing of our founder Brian Lister, we could not think of a better way to honour his memory than by continuing his legacy."
So if you missed out on a Knobbly but desperately require one, best get yourself and lots of money to the NEC pronto! With enough encouragement they have to make them, right?
