Hello Cerbie, need a new motor?
Autocraft Special Vehicle Engineering has announced that it's been appointed the exclusive dealer for Al Melling's TVR AJP V8 replacement engine.
The motor is an all-new billet alloy 32-valve four-cam 5-litre pump delivering 580bhp at 7,300 rpm. Torque is 438lb-ft at 5,800rpm. ASVE said that the engine will bolt into the Cerbera chassis and mate to the standard bellhousing, and is a direct replacement for the TVR 16 valve 4.2- or 4.5-litre V8.
The company is a partner with engine designer Al Melling and supported by design and engineering consultancy MCD. ASVE said its mission is "to provide the markets of both TVR and our other exotic sportscar owners with an honest service, and our agenda has always been to keep the customer on the road and smiling."
